Privacy Policy
This policy explains what SoCal Flexographic Corp. ("SoCal Flexo", "we", "us") collects when you use socalflexo.com, why we collect it, who sees it, and the choices you have. We are a label and packaging printer in Santa Fe Springs, California, and we collect information for one reason: to do business with you.
1. Information you give us
The site has four forms. Each one collects only what we need to act on it:
- Sample kit request: your name, email address, phone number, company, shipping address, which samples you want, your industry, and any notes.
- File upload: your name, company, project name, email address, phone number, the files you upload, and any notes.
- New customer profile: your company's name, phone, website and address; your contact details; the names, email addresses and phone numbers of your accounts payable, artwork and purchasing contacts; and billing and shipping addresses.
- Credit application: your business details and type, how long you have been at your address, your bank's name, phone and account type, three trade references, and a typed signature and date. We do not collect bank account numbers through the site.
You can also reach us by phone or email, and we keep the records of those conversations that a business normally keeps.
2. Text messages (SMS)
If you opt in, SoCal Flexographic Corp. may send you text messages about your inquiries, quotes, proofs, orders, shipments and account. You opt in by checking the SMS consent box on one of our forms, by texting us first, or by giving us your mobile number and asking us to text you. Consent is not a condition of doing business with us. Message frequency varies and message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to unsubscribe and HELP for help. Full details are in our SMS Terms and Conditions.
We keep a record of your consent (the date, time and method) as carriers and the law require. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third parties, except with the messaging service provider that delivers our texts, solely for that purpose.
3. Information collected automatically
- Analytics. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand how the site is used. It reports aggregate page views and performance, does not use cookies, does not fingerprint your browser, and does not track you across other sites.
- Hosting and security logs. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, logs requests to the site (including IP address and browser type) to serve pages, defend against abuse and keep the site running. Our forms are protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks that a submission comes from a person and not an automated script.
- Cookies. We do not set advertising or tracking cookies. The site stores one flag in your browser's session storage so the opening animation plays once per visit; it contains no personal information and is cleared when you close the tab.
4. How we use it
We use the information you give us to respond to you, ship sample kits, prepare quotes and proofs, produce your orders, open and manage your account, evaluate credit applications, send you confirmations and updates about your requests, and meet our legal and accounting obligations. We do not use it for advertising and we do not sell it.
5. Who sees it
Your information is handled by SoCal Flexo staff who need it to serve you. To run the site and our business, we rely on a small number of service providers who process it on our behalf:
- Microsoft (Microsoft 365 and Azure): email, Teams, file storage and the automation that delivers your form submissions to us. Data is stored in the United States.
- Cloudflare: website hosting, delivery, security and analytics.
- Geoapify: address suggestions on our forms. As you type a street address, the text you have typed in that field (and nothing else from the form) is sent through our server to Geoapify to look up matching addresses.
- Esko: our online proofing portal, if you approve proofs there.
- Carriers and financial institutions as needed to ship kits and orders, and to verify credit references you supply.
We may also disclose information when the law requires it, to protect our rights or safety, or as part of a sale or reorganization of our business. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. Mobile phone numbers and SMS consent are never shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
6. How long we keep it
We keep customer and order records for as long as we have a business relationship with you and afterwards for as long as tax, accounting and legal requirements call for. Files you upload for a job are kept as part of that job's records so we can reprint accurately. Sample kit requests that do not lead to further contact are deleted within a reasonable period.
7. Your choices and rights
You can ask us at any time what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, subject to records we are required to keep. California residents have these rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, along with the right not to be discriminated against for exercising them. Because we do not sell or share personal information for advertising, there is nothing to opt out of on that front, and we treat Global Privacy Control signals accordingly. To make a request, email info@socalflexo.com or call (626) 888-3311. We will verify that the request comes from you before acting on it.
Our site does not currently respond to browser "Do Not Track" signals, because nothing on it tracks you in the first place.
8. Security
The site is served only over HTTPS. Form submissions are encrypted in transit and delivered into our Microsoft 365 environment, where access is limited to staff who need it. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, so if you have a concern about a specific submission, call us and we will handle it directly.
9. Children
The site is for businesses and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from them.
10. Links to other sites
The site links to our proofing portal and to our Instagram and LinkedIn pages. Those services have their own privacy practices, which we do not control.
11. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will post the new version here with a new effective date. Material changes affecting information we already hold will be communicated to the affected customers directly.
